THE KENNY HILL GROUP
The idea of the band started out after guitarist/singer Kenny Hill was frustrated with comprising his vision in "band" settings, decided he was going to pursue his musical quest uncompromisingly.
Kenny Hill has been performing regionally, writing and recording for K.H.G. since about January of 2014.
Prior to the Kenny Hill Group, Kenny Hill is known as former member of bands like Rif Raf, Halloween, Soldier Soul, The Brotherhood, Mansfield Park, as well as having a consistent solo career with many recordings released.
When asked about the band's main influences, Kenny Hill commented that the sound comes from a very passionate, colorful yet color blind place that is influenced artists like Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson, Rush, Muse, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani, Christopher Cross just to name a few.
Kenny Hill Groups first single Bridges (Burning) was released worldwide October 11, 2016 and accompanied by a video and the follow up to the debut single is Johnny Sokko & His Flying Robot along with a third single Survive which is also accompanied by a video and independently, financed completely by KHG. All songs were co-produced by Kevin Wesley Williams and are now available worldwide and can be purchased at LIVE SHOWS or anywhere online where you can purchase music. The expected full length album will be available spring of 2018.
The Kenny Hill Group is always interested in charitable events and utilizing music as a way to communicate and convey a positive message that sometimes may fail in just words only.
